Is it possible to modify the Windows registry manually?
You can edit the registry by using Microsoft’s Registry Editor (Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe). However, using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows again. Microsoft does not guarantee that errors caused by using Registry Editor incorrectly can be resolved again. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk.
