How Do I Clear My Cache and Delete Cookies?
A web cache is a temporary location in your hard drive that stores data from web pages you visit, so on future visits to those sites, you can access the same information much quicker. After a while, your cache gets overloaded, or it may not be loading the most current page of a site. Time to empty out your cache.
It’s also a good idea to clear out your browser’s cookies to protect your privacy. Deleting them removes any information that websites have gathered about you. Not all cookies are harmful, but some store what sites you have been too, as well as any information you may have given out while there.
It takes mere seconds to clear our your cache and remove cookies. If you have a lot of goodies stored in there, it may take a few minutes the first time.
In Explorer
Tools>Internet Options>Under General Tab, Select Browsing History, Click Delete>Select Temporary Internet Files and Cookies>Click Delete
In Google Chrome
Click the Wrench icon>Select Options>Clear Browsing Data>Select Empty Cache and Delete Cookies>Clear Browsing Data
In Safari
Control-Alt-E to empty cache
Click on the Gear icon>Select Preferences>Select Security>Show Cookies>Remove All
In Firefox
Tools>Select Clear Recent History>Select Detail List>Select Cache and Cookies>Click Clear Now
